I've never seen these before.I found them emerging from some Musk Mallow seed pods.Sweet little things of varying sizes with interesting spots on their bums 😊 The largest are only about 5mm and I realise they're not the prettiest thing but we welcome any new species to our garden 💖These have been here a few days and are reluctant to leave the Mallow or their family group and I think I can see some empty skins so I'm wondering whether they're growing and shedding their skins and won't move on until they're a bit bigger?There's very technical information available on their appearance but I can't seem to find any info. on what they get up to. What do they do? Where will they go?
The League Against Cruel Sports have a directory listing businesses that have undertaken a pledge, "a guarantee from businesses to their customers that they in no way support, promote or otherwise enable blood sports such as hunting, shooting, or animal fighting".
I don't think our customers should be paying for "chaff" so all our home-grown seeds are cleaned before we send them out to you 😊
A great big green monster of a plant that looks really impressive in a border or on its own, Angelica is a hardy biennial or monocarpic plant.
We’re fast approaching the perfect time to sow seeds that need several months of cold before they will germinate.
These lovely little button flowers belong to Devil's-Bit Scabious 💜

You’ll notice that I usually use the common name for plants in the same way that I call a Wren a Wren rather than a Troglodytes Troglodytes which in everyday language would sound a bit daft.
We're getting regular visits from a Hedgehog or Hedgehogs now, (speeded up in the video), and it looks like we have Wood Mice, the first small rodent we've seen so far 🐭 (not speeded up)
Our new garden, and in fact the whole village, is full of sparrows 😍
