We've moved!

Hurray, we’ve moved 😊

Last Monday, the “missives were completed,” (we exchanged), on our new home and the following day, we moved.

I think that’s called cutting it a bit fine πŸ˜‚

We had an unexpected visit from a racing pigeon on the Monday while the loading was going on.

Strolled into our living room and demanded feeding πŸ™„

Our removals men were fantastic and as well as moving all our household stuff, (including hundreds, if not thousands of books), they moved a huge number of plants and pots including our 5 oak half-barrels πŸ’ͺ

If you’re moving within, to or from, Dumfries and Gallery we can highly recommend https://www.dumfriesandgallowayremovals.co.uk/ ❀

Well, here we are in the new house which we like very much although it’s not without its problems, some we knew about, (roof repairs, electrics etc.),  some we didn’t.

At the moment we’ve no hot water and a probable water leak under the downstairs bathroom floor which will probably result in the floor having to be dug up.

Before you’re wondering how smelly we’re getting, we’re having “fun” using a re-chargeable portable camping shower which is proving worth it’s weight in soap πŸ˜„

Now we get to the best bit, the garden 😍

It’s fairly wild and backs onto fields and we’ve seen baby bunnies and birds galore.

There’s lots of dandelions and cuckoo flowers in the grass and I can’t wait until I’ve got the time to explore πŸ™‚

Anyway, Jemima’s Garden is now open again although I haven’t had time to restock properly.

If you’d like anything that’s showing out of stock, please drop me a message and I’ll see what I can do.

Come with me on a bumpy walk to the bottom of the garden 😊
