Selfheal is an attractive plant with purple flowers and creeping stems which attracts bees and other beneficial insects.

Also known as Blue Lucy, Carpenter’s herb, Hookweed and Thimble Flower,  it is an easy to grow, good ground cover plant.   It may also self-seed and establish itself in grassy areas.

Selfheal attracts / provides food for the following creatures:

  • Bees
  • Wasps
  • An "RHS Plants for Pollinators" plant **
