Orange and Cinnamon Garland
I make these Garlands every year for the Yule period and the Winter Solstice.
They're simple slices of Orange and Limes, dried and then threaded on to natural Jute string and interspersed with Cinnamon sticks and Bayleaves.
I've finished them with a rustic Raffia bow at each end where there is a loop of string for hanging.
These naturally smell great but you can also purchase some "Yuletide oil" to keep them smelling fantastic for longer.
They're roughly 100cm long including the loops and can be hung from door frames, bookcases, dressers etc.
Being a natural, perishable product, you can only expect to get one season's use out of them as the colours of the fruit get very dark over time and they do absorb any moisture in the air. The good news is, they're totally recyclable and compostable.
They're meant for use indoors but if you want to hang them outside they'll still look good for quite a while but will suffer from any damp weather and gradually deteriorate.
