Tufted Vetch is an elegant plant that climbs or scrambles through other vegetation. 

It has lovely flowers of violet-purple which are pollinated by larger bees including bumblebees.

In the wild it is found in hedgerows, rough grassland and the edges of woods.

Tufted Vetch provides food for the following creatures: 

  • Bumblebees and other large bees 
  • Moths including Blackneck moth πŸ›
  • Butterflies including Wood White πŸ›
  • An "RHS Plants for Pollinators" plant **
