Lemon balm has very small white flowers, fresh green leaves with a lemon scent and flavour.

Also known as bee balm, it has nectar and pollen rich flowers which are known for attracting bees.

Can be used whenever a lemon flavour is needed in either sweet or savoury dishes but use raw as the flavour is not so pleasant when cooked, (chop finely and add to dishes at the end of cooking).

Perfect for adding to cold drinks or blending in yoghurt.

Lemon balm will self-seed but unwanted seedlings can easily be removed.

Lemon Balm attracts / provides food for the following creatures:

  • Bees
  • 🦇

All our seed packets include sowing instructions.

Jemima’s Garden seeds are plastic free and reyclable. They’re contained in an inner glassine envelope, (made from pine wood cellulose), and an outer Kraft paper seed packet. Any shipping packaging is also plastic free and recyclable.
