Where to sow: Outside, direct into soil or into trays, modules or pots. The seeds need a period of cold before they will germinate.

Betony is also known as Wood Betony and Bishop's Wort and is attractive to bumblebees and other pollinating insects.

It is a pretty, upright plant with pink/purple flower spikes appearing in summer and early autumn.
