Also known as Fiddleneck or Blue Tansy, Phacelia is an annual plant with ferny leaves and soft blue or lavender flowers.

It provides a very good source of nectar and pollen for pollinating insects including many species of bees and hoverflies.

Very easy to grow and generally pest and disease free, this plant prefers a sunny spot but can tolerate most soil types as long as it is well-drained.

Phacelia provides food for the following creatures:

  • Hoverflies
  • Short-tongued bees
  • πŸ¦‡

Jemima’s Garden seeds are plastic free and reyclable. They’re contained in an inner glassine envelope, (made from pine wood cellulose), and an outer Kraft paper seed packet. Any shipping packaging is also plastic free and recyclable.
