Flower Pot Pincushion - Purple Flower - Large

This pin cushion is obviously useful for pins, but the top also lifts off to provide storage for a thimble or a few buttons.

The top is made from calico and padded with polyester.

It's decorated with a handmade flower and leaf I've made using felt and cotton batik fabric.

It also has a small ribbon tab to lift the top out of the pot. 

The flower pot itself is terracotta painted with Farrow & Ball dead flat paint in Pointing. Inside, it has a calico lining to the bottom.

A lovely useful gift for someone into sewing crafts but with a gardening twist.

Approximately 11cm tall and 9cm wide.
