The leaves of Perforate St. John's Wort contain tiny translucent dots which can be seen if they are held up to light.

The pretty star-shaped flowers are golden yellow and popular with various pollinators including bumblebees and moths.

Warning: Perforate St. John's Wort contains a toxin which is activated by bright sunlight so is best avoided in grassland/gardens where animals graze.
