Common Thyme - Thymus vulgaris


Type: Hardy Evergreen Perennial

Approximate height: 30 cm - 45 cm

Flowering time: Summer

Site and soil type: Well-drained soil in sun

Uses: Culinary, Medicinal

Care: Lightly trim after flowering to prevent straggly growth.

Tiny leaved plant with mauve flowers in spring and summer which are very popular with pollinators.


A good plant for culinary use and also has antiseptic properties.


Peat-free, pesticide-free, plastic-free.


All plants are sent to you in an eco-friendly cardboard POSIpot or fibre pot, (made from wood pulp), together with a wooden ID label and care instructions. In both cases these can be planted straight into the ground in the pot which will biodegrade.
