Crimson-Flowered Flax - Linum grandiflorum ‘Rubrum‘

Type: Hardy Annual

Approximate height: 35 cm

Flowering time: Summer into autumn

Site and soil type: Well-drained soil in sun or semi shade

When to sow: March to May

An easy to grow pretty plant with deep red silky flowers, popular with pollinators.

Sow directly into the soil in spring. If successive sowings are made you will have flowers throughout the summer into autumn. Can also be sown in autumn for earlier flowering the next year.

Prepare the soil by removing any weeds and raking lightly. Scatter the seeds on the soil surface where they are to grow, and gently rake them in or cover lightly with soil. Best grown in groups rather than singly.

Contents: Approximately 500 seeds / 1.79 g
