Common Toadflax has yellow and orange “snapdragon” flowers which appear in June and may continue until October.
Several species of bee are attracted by Common Toadflax including Buff-tailed and White-tailed bumblees, Honeybees and Common carder bees.
Sow directly into the soil in Spring or autumn and either gently rake the seeds in or cover very lightly with soil. They can also be sown into trays of compost and pricked out and grown on for later planting or into biodegradable pots for planting when grown.
