Phacelia is an annual plant with ferny leaves and soft blue or lavender flowers which provide a very good source of nectar and pollen for pollinating insects including many species of bees, hoverflies and butterflies.
Very easy to grow and generally pest and disease free, this plant prefers a sunny spot but can tolerate most soil types as long as it is well-drained.
