Site and soil type: Prefers a moist soil in a sunny spot.
When to sow: March to June
A bushy spreading plant with divided leaves and yellow flowers with white tipped petals in summer through to autumn.
Loved by pollinators especially hoverflies.
Sow directly into soil from March to June for flowering from June to September.
Prepare the soil by removing any weeds and raking lightly. Scatter the seeds thinly on the soil surface where they are to grow, and gently rake them in or cover lightly with soil. Keep soil moist until seeds germinate.
